Eisenhower Mountain

Finally climbed Eisenhower Mountain today! Elevation going up was 1970 feet approximately. Round trip I ended up at about 6.5 miles ascending a total of 2,400 feet. I started from Living Desert Zoo and branched off at the back of the hiking trail. The first pano shows San Jacinto on the left, and stretches to La Quinta.

My heart was pounding at a particular section where some scrambling was involved that was a little more risky than normal.

Great view from the top, looking down on Toscana, as well as many other courses. Hot day in mid January! Went early enough in the morning to still get 9-holes in. The final picture is from the 10th Hole on the North Course looking back at Eisenhower Mountain this same afternoon.
